Thanks for that, Jimi! Small point, something for later maybe, the wooden frame in this kind of structure would have grain running along the long axis of each piece. The joints were usually secured with round wooden dowels. I think you should consider this when planning your next masterpiece. This however, is seriously good stuff. Well done.

Wonderful model and texturing. Anyone haveing problems with the way the grain runs in their textures should map the part with box mapping in uv mapper, then everything will work great when imported using the "parametric" option. Note I am not saying to use the template, only that the part should make the trip through uv mapper so that it will hold textures right.

Hi, probably you remember my WIP thread (see attached link). I want to thank you all for your great feedback. I've finished the Old Pharmacy now and will proceed to model the next buildings of that street. To thank you all, this model will be released as freebie soon. The mesh is fully divided into texture groups for easy importing and texturing. I hope you look forward to its release! :-) Take Care, Jimi
