Scanning your post, I would say "The Tailor" is more than likely your best route. I bought the damn thing, too, but never used it. However, AFAIK, it allows you to transfer morphs from your character to clothing. Hope that helps somewhat.

Thanks, Sam- I've used 'The Tailor' to try to fit the existing PT and TentenJ clothing to my PTVicki Character, but the mesh of them doesn't stretch too well over the Breast/Glute/Hip shaping. I'm hoping that Vicki clothing (which has adult female proportions at these areas), will tailor better to a Vicki2 version of the character- I've managed to get the body proportions on the Vicki2 version the same as the PT one, but the face shaping is much more difficult and subtle to match exactly.......I fear I may indeed be in for more endless Face Dial Tweakerage!! Regards, KrS
well if the mesh is the same..why not just export the head you like out as a morph target...and then import it back as a morph target for the regular vicky..with everything else set to zero and the new morph set to "1" it should give you the face you want with just one dial turn, should it not?then you just have to work on the adult body till it fits what you wanted...seems easy enough,or am i missing something here?[possible :) ]
Ta for the example, Swamp- I found too, and it's still noticeable on the comparison, that the cheeks and edges of the mouth still differ due to Vicki's basic face shape but I figger it's now close enough (looks like there is no easy way!

Ive always preferred the basic head shape and features of the PT over Vic2 (I now have a second favorite in the Vic3 hybrid by Netherworks). As by both our examples, the cheeck, mouth, and chin, are very distinct features on the Vic2 mesh. They are hard to overcome with the standard morphs, and always scream VICKY. While I use a program called ZBrush, that allows me to do whatever I want with the mesh....that really is not a program I'd recommend to most people (cost, learning curve,etc.). Fortunately the very generous "morph master/guru" Jaager has done the hard work for most, and has a huge selection of morphs for DL. They are in the cr2 format,so you need to use MorphManager to transfer to your PT or Vic2 mesh. But they are very different from the standard morphs, and give you a lot more options for reshaping the standard features. Check out his DL section (link). SWAMPThanks again, Swamp- I've used a couple of Jaager's shaping 'filters' before (the Tmech Scale and UpBrow Fix)- I'll check his DLs. I'll also have a look at ZBrush, see if I can find a demo or trial of it- I've never really paid that much attention to it, just thinking it was a 'real time' texturing tool, but Displacement Maps may be very handy for future modelling (Jeez! I still use RayDream! My C4d sits unused 'cause I'm too bone idle and hidebound to get to grips with a new interface!!). And I agree with you about the Mil Girls being preferable- you can see from my comparison pic that the cheeck line below the eye on the PT is much smoother than the V2 version. It's a lot easier to 'tallify' a PT to make an adult woman (and much better morphs) than to 'shortarse down' vicky to make a short woman! It's a pity that DAZ didn't just make the Mil Girls as true versions of Vicki, with the scaling on the dials, instead of using a scaled down mesh- would make the whole clothes thing much easier (though I suppose the V3/M3 Unimesh thang is kind of doing this). Oh your welcome. There is a demo of ZBrush...but sadly you cannot import/export obj's with it. You can play around, shaping the 3D objects that are within the program, but that doesn't give you a good "feel" for how easy it is to work with complex heads and bodies (by just shaping/morphing with a brush). Look at the very active forums at ZBrush Central, and that will give you a better idea of what ZBrush is all about. Have fun,SWAMP

Now this might be a nadgery one! Mil figs like the MilGirls/Vicki, and Mike/Steffi use the same basic meshes, and the morphs for one will transfer to the other. However, the PTVicki morphs transfer very well to Vicki, which leads us to the Kernel, the very nub, if you will, of my problem. I've made a character for a short (but adult) woman based on a heavily magneted and morphed PTVicki- but unfortunately, there's not a lot of decent clothing which will fit! Has anyone developed a method, or come across a tutorial for fitting PTVicki/Vicki and Steffi/Mike conforming clothing to each other (that would be the ultimate, but I doubt it's going to be simple), or, probably more realistically, how to get Vicki's face/head the same as the PTVicki one- I've managed to get both to look extremely similar, but it would be best if I could get Vicki to have the basic PT face, so the character shaping from the PT based figure would be directly transferable to get a very near or exact match. I've used the 'Head Victoria2' morph on the PT with a variety of add and minus settings to a degree of success, but it would be excellent if there was some kind of benchmark method which would give both versions of the character the exact same face. I know, I know, maybe I should direct my efforts to something more attainable, like proving that Space Alien Men really exist, but any help/info/direction would be appreciated! I figger that having a look at Yamato's various Tenten tutorials and stuff may be a good bet, since he has used the PT and Vicki for versions of the same character, but if there's anything else out there, I'd be Jolly Bloody Grateful!! Can I spell 'Anal Retentive'? Of course! One of the benifts of being an Obsessive Perfectionist.......... Regards, KrS
