So.....when do we hear back about the name dubbing?

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 5:07 AM

Oh and in a defense of Lyrra... If (s)he's gonna be free, then why is (s)he the prize? I love this critter though so I'd love to have him/her.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

It definitely feels like a Snoggles to me

lundon_Don ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 9:43 AM

Upon closer examination it apears clear to me that he is really a she, in which case she should be named She-Lug. Of course, if she IS really a he then she would have to be named He-Lug. And naturally when you bring the baby out it would just have to me named Wee-Lug.

geep ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 9:47 AM

Hmmm .... Wee-Lug ... better get the nappies ready! ;=]

Are you sure it's a she? I mean... it's not naked, there's no sword and there's nary a temple in sight. - Jack

Yes- Jack. It's a she. But don't ask me how I know.

jval ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 10:25 AM

...But don't ask me how I know. ... or you'll have to kill me, right? Okay- I get the picture. Won't say nuttin' more nohow (grin). - Jack

lundon_Don ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 10:53 AM

No, no- Jack. She's just very modest. By the way, everybody- did I mention thet the E is silent? You pronounce her hame Shhhhlug.

jval ( ) posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 10:58 AM

Well, if the E is silent it just can't be a she. All the women I know are far from silent... he says running and ducking and ducking and running. - Jack

Seeing as this thread is still going and I've had a few queries about the monoculapod (snail like creature) - I figured I'd post a WIP of this pet monoculapod's owner... Seeing as this thread has been moved anyways - I guess I can post this here. The UV-mapping and textures haven't been completed yet, so this is a material group coloring only... Also - I haven't included the alien's funky clothing as it is still in development. The monoculapod was planned as a free (yes free) teaser to the full alien product. It is only going to be released later (once the full pack is ready), so the person who wins it would be getting it long before anyone else :-) cheers, Steve PS: I'll be choosing a name from the entries this evening...

Okay I'm sure you've found a name by now and you said no more names, but I just thought of Snoggin. or Spelled Snoggan. It just sounded cute and appropriate. ~Jaesha~
