Subject: So... anyone else have something to confess?

JoeyAristophanes ( ) posted Wed, 17 December 2003 at 7:21 PM · edited Fri, 03 January 2025 at 7:35 PM

Seems confession at this time of year is good for the soul, so if anyone else out there has... "appropriated" something for use in their own goods, maybe now would be a good time to spill it and get it over with. ::waiting with as much Catholic patience as I can possibly muster right about now::

Ok...I kind of "appropriated" my son's guinea pig. It's his, but I've been referring to it as "Mine"...

It's very inappropriate to use your son as a guinea pig.

JoeyAristophanes ( ) posted Wed, 17 December 2003 at 7:42 PM

Or your guinea pig as your son. Eww.

I was going to release my new photo realistic texture for the Manequin that has taken me two months to do. I actually hired a real manequin (not joking) and photographed it, and made the maps from scratch. But with the rising popularity of Naked Manequin In A Temple With A Lego Block pictures, I am afraid that someone is going to steal my texture, so I am going to keep it for myself. Sorry to all the people who were so eagerly awaiting the new texture.

Yes I do. As a young child I cried myself to sleep when my parents gave me a G.I. Joe instead of a Barbie doll for Christmas. I really wanted that sword and temple. But it's okay... really. Now I have Poser. - Jack

my confession... 3 summers ago, I was going through a very weird stage, thought I wanted to be a teenager again (I was 29) I went to Best Buy and 'covering ears and head' bought a Britney Spears CD but the part that is even more sad, when I was asking the guy where it was I told him it was a birthday present for my neice. Oh, I also love Xanadu and I am helplessly stuck in the 80s'

Tattoo! that's hot! I remember going to that mall in the early 80's (high school) wearing my RUSH tour shirt and jeans with the hole in the knee. My friend with the car would show up wearing Mr. Spock's real blue shirt complete with insignia, gold sleeve trim and black t-shirt on underneath.

I like Pokemon. I have thirty level 100's and Oscar, my Walrean, has 21 ribbons. I am a sad, sad, woman. I just brought a Sailor Moon doll - and I love it! I once shaved a bald path down the back of my son's head coz I forgot I had taken the guard off of the clippers - and he was just about to play his guitar in a very important County competition! And finally, I brought the Spice Girls movie and Gerri Halliwell's autobiography - and I was vertaqinly old enough to know better!

numanoid ( ) posted Thu, 18 December 2003 at 1:16 AM

This thread is filled with humour and lightheartedness. None of us are really confessing to major crimes or misdemeanors. There was no need to get all heavy on us and confess to listening to country music. I am so depressed now. I think I must log off.
