Have you checked Chemical Studios - I know there are some futuristic vehicles over there. Also check out 3DCafe (IIRC they have some futuristic vehicles) and the Props Guild Paul

Hi Jody! I think your picture is going to look quite cool when its finished. Now, youve probably already thought of this but since you wanted comments... you got them... The girl is standing next to a black screen. Is there going to be anything on that screen later? Maybe a commercial of some sort? The city is a bit too dark, I think. It looks like nobody lives there at all yet it appears to be a city that should be teaming with life. But as I said before, youre not finished yet. Please contact me when you are. Live well.. /Jacko

Before I critique your work I want you to know as for it being a work in progress you are off to a great start. But saying that I have to agree with Jacko, for this to apparently to be a thriving metropolitan area your skyscrappers should have more lights lit on them. that's the only suggestion I have to make. Now I need some help from you where did you get that hair and if it's your could you possibly post it. Thank You Frost

Hi guys Yes, once I work out how to map the damn picture (it keeps screwing up) I plan to have some kind of Megacorporation style advert on the screen. At the moment I just mapped a static map. The hair is part of the Armitage figure, the hair itself has no bump map and is just a solid colour. BUT, I fiddled with a bump map in Vue and got mega lucky with it, total luck. Alas to say I can't post the hair because it's part of a figure (of Armitage) that Kalypso is working on for me. I'm just sending over the last set of images so he can fine tune her gun (not featured) and then I think he's gonna post it at Propsguild. Anyhow, I'll put an announcement on the forum when it's around. Yes the city isn't finished yet, I want some aircraft, more lights and other stuff (more detail on the rooftop). Thanks for all comments Jody

Do you have Cinema 4D? If so, you might want to look into their Instant Space CD. It's only $30 IIRC, and it includes lots of parts that you could use to quickly build a futuristic craft.

You want a blade runner car? Here you go ... http://tatooine.fortunecity.com/eventhorizon/34/bssmeshes.htm I am not totally sure what you have as far as programs but it is available. Good luck and hope that helps

Avenger's Poser stuff at address above has a mess of nice poser stuff incuding a Blade Runner "spinner" in PP2 format.

Do you know where can I find the blade runner spinner? URL is no good anymore.

Huolong ( ) posted Tue, 29 January 2002 at 12:09 AM

There used to be a site for Blade Runner that had a spinner. I don't know if it's still good. A lot of good sites crashed a burned since this was originally posted.
