Coolcatcom you could not pay me enough to live in the snow again. I would love to carve out an income online so I could spend winters in Arizona and summers in Colorado. Woodhurts this is about six miles from where I live. Two miles from my house you can find Ancient Indian Pottery fragments in the desert. Draculaz thanks, my crappy HP Photosmart 315 does not do justice to the landscape here. ICM it stays a shade of brown here all the time unless you have an irrigation system, and that is a waste of water. That is what I envy about those living in wetter climates where they have ample winter snow.

Hey..I live in a country with no Christmas as such...since it's Hindu based... and well..unless you're a Christain..you'd remember it's chrismas. So you gys who are snowed under, sipping wine, with fruit cake and all the x-mas goodies..some of us are still having a normal, routine day!!Merry X-mas...
Bummer, but I can see the need. 5 hunters were sited for reckless endangerment when they parked on a county road and started shooting elk in someone's front yard, directly towards the house, missed the two year old in a playpen by inches, in the livingroom, lucky the others were in the back yard, are people (especially hunters) stupid or what....;

CryingWolf, that's what I see out of my windshield nearly every day and for the next six months (only piled 6 ft high + on both sides of the road) slush and brown white misery (Montreal Quebec you see) by february your mind begins to go (hit the bar) derjimi, I love that pic...looks like spring to me.....
Last night we had slushy rain and we've to expect snow soon, and it's already snowing in the mountains. I agree with Rochr the cold wind, especially when it comes from the north, is dreadful. It's like invisible ice hitting you and somehow it seems to be able to penetrate most clothing. If I could move to a warmer climate I would, maybe see you soon erosiaart, I hear the weather is nice this time of year where you are. 8) Catlin

@Ang25, where are you again? @Sambucus, tell me about it!Although currently in the south of England, I'm moving soon (I hope) to the warmer climate of Fishers, Indiana. My better half took this last week. It's a shot of the back yard out of my future home. Can't wait to move somewhere warmer than England. Sorry that it's a link, but you'll see why I've had to do it if you click on it.

In the depth of winter, Indiana is much colder than England and in the middle of summer is much much hotter. England is just pretty much Blah the whole year. Actually that's not fair. England had record temperatures this year. Even got up to 97 where I am. For about 30 minutes anyway. ;-)

LOL, I was wondering the same thing, England cannot be colder than Indiana. I'm living in the Fingerlakes Region of New York, nowhere near NYC and I've never had the chance to go there. We aren't as bad here as Buffalo NY but we still get way more snow than I care to see. It'll probably be March or April before I see the ground again. :'(
coolcatcom - Yeah, this year is a bit harsher here in Spokane. I was able to ride at least a couple of days a month last year. I haven't ridden since October this year 8( I do miss the riding you can do down there in Arizona this time of the year. But ha I was able to ride over the 4th of July during the day without melting here in Spokane.
When I lived in Colorado I took the roof off of my 4wd. It was a little tough in the winters, and I had to drill drain holes for the spring rains, but I loved it. When I got down here to Arizona I took the doors off as well. I loved that little International Harvester Scout2 and cried like a baby when it died. I would love to have a motorcycle too.

Thanks, I wish I could claim credit, but my ladyfriend took the picture and the effect is an Anfy applet.---------
