Dressed for a GOOD TIME down by the ol' DAZ Corral, Ms. Maya Doll enters via DAZ Content Thumbnails!

Since I couldn't figure out how to CONFORM or PARENT clothes in DS, I clicked on Maya Doll, Clicked on the Clothes I wanted her to wear- and ALL jumped perfectly in place. Only the HAT was not Maya Doll ready, but only took a few nudges on the ROT dials to fix that.

Then I clicked on a V2 pose and applied it to each
clothing item. All posed perfectly again, except the
hat- which again just needed a ROT nudge.

Been getting too high on Candy Canes! It's actually ANIME DOLL, not her sister Maya. Candy Canes and Hershey Kisses can drive a man INSANE!

Before anyone asks, the edges at the waist are appearing becuase the original obj doesn't have its group edges welded. Any figure made in such a way will break apart at those seams while posing for right now.

PheonixRising ( ) posted Fri, 26 December 2003 at 3:49 AM

Well since DS doesn't actually use grouping a weld statement for figure joints wouldn't be needed. If they add a redundant weld command remind them Michael it shouldn't be global..only seams. Global would be havoc. hehe

At the bottom of the Parameters tab there's a button called "FIT". That's how you conform things in D|S. Selevt the clothing item, then click FIT and select what character to make it fit to and wham! Ez as that :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
