Fully expecting a half hour of light-level tweaking and missing maps, etc.-- This Shazam Mike Beta image I made earlier this week loaded PERFECTLY! I was completely stunned by this- All the Capsces Boris morphs work in DS as well. This was my first COMPLETELY SUCCESSFUL loading of a non-DAZ product into DS! All P4 PP lights, etc. needed no adjustments-first time this has happened for me.

DKE- the developer of SHAZAM will surely be happy about this as Shazam Mike also uses a special and unique Injection Script from the Geom folder- all working great the
first time in DS.

Hmm... Sorta looks like George Bush, the Wizard of Oz, Gollum, and a zombie all rolled into one... :-) A

How did you do that, I tried to put Shazam in there and when I click on her, DS runs but then shuts completely down? Sharen

It loaded perfectly, Sharen- it surprised me too. It even came in with Ockham's Python ball props (because I had been playing with z-tooning) - so I deleted the balls. There is still one at his feet- and if I deleted that, it deleted him too- so USED the UNDO-UNDELETE BOTTON!(ha!! I LOVE That Feature- Jeez I wish Poser did THAT!) Anyway- ---Don't know why your DS shuts down. I know a number of people already HATE ME for saying this, but I built my two P-III's to be compatible with DAZ Studio from the day it was announced. I went with what DAZ was using primarily- Win2K Pro, plus 512 MB ram and good graphics cards (64MB and 128MB). DS seems to run like a CHAMP on my systems- have had very few problems, other than Poser Pz3's (like I can't get Bloodsong's Heavy Horse to load correctly with Alla's new maps- still working on that.) Shazam MAYBE was orginally created with magnets by DKE, but as a M1-M2 product his head is designed to accept all MIKE 2 morphs, but with more caracturist-toonlike control features. That's why I love the Shazam characters- because they ARE different than just morphing M2 or V2. ALL of the BORIS morphs have working dials in DS. I was surprised too that ALL of it was working correctly!

"I know a number of people already HATE ME for saying this, but I built my two P-III's to be compatible with DAZ Studio from the day it was announced..." Hehe... I never said I HATED you for saying/doing that, just that it wasn't necessary ;). Any relatively recent 32bit OS (WinXP Home/Pro, Win2K/Win2K Pro, etc) should work equally well. Even Win98 should work, though memory management issues may cause... issues.

Like I've said previously- Big difference between "Should Work" and "Works Really GREAT". I prefer "Works Really Great", but DAZ has to TRY to make as many people happy as is "reasonable" and with what they can AFFORD, of course. But computers are relatively dirt-cheap these days- and if you want "professional Results", get a "Professional Machine/OS" Otherwise you just be limping along. DAZ Cannot say that, ---but I CAN! I got my systems with where DAZ STUDIO is GOING. Not where ANCIENT POSER was in 1992! Still like user P4 PP (and it runs GREAT under Win2K with 512MB) But DS will be primarily "Geared", as new DS Plug-In will reveal, mostly for SERIOUS Posaholics and Pros! WIN98 and 256/384MB RAM ain't gonna cut it!

Again, you miss my point and so before you start ANALizing my intentions, I'll just bow out - I've been using/building and programming computers for about 20 some odd years now and I can see that I'm no match for your computer savvyness ;).

D/S works great on my system with the exception to Shazam...I tried like 8 times to get her in and this is the only character I can't get in. I am so bummed. Oh well that is why I still will use my beloved Poser. Sharen
