Just change your material inside Vue 4 to a matt black. If the material comes out as a reflective one in Vue, this means that the reflections were setted so inside Poser. But as Vue and Poser works differently with reflections and reflective materials (metals), you may change it easily inside Vue. Guitta
I've had a similar issue. A pair of old boots, which in poser are made to look like leather, come out in Vue as metallic. The problem with changing the material setting in Vue is, once you open the item, it uses all the same textures for th eitem (A warning VUE gives) and it messes up the boots texture. Anyone know what I am talking about, or how to get around it?
Yes, but you are doing something wrong :-) To change only a part of your figure, lets say the boots, but it could be the eyes or the eye white or whatever texture, you must open the material summary. In there you can see all the materials in detail that you have in your scene. To open the material summary, click the icon at top with the 3 decreasing spheres. This might make you happy I hope:-) Guitta

I'm having trouble with Daz'z Action Sara's body suit texture, it fails to import properly or I have to do some black magic some where? Instead of a matt black it is a highly reflective blue? Any suggestions as to my incompetance? Note: poser 4.03 & Vue 4.12
