Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 27 5:49 pm)
Hi todd, 1. Load the Figure. 2. Turn off all IK chains. 3. Open the Joint Editor. 4. Click the "Zero Figure" button. 5. Do a "Drop to Floor" ... and that's all there is to it. cheers, dr geep ;=]

I think the squatting pose is so the legs will bend in the correct direction, should you sit the figure down. Remember, IK is on as a default.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
re: "Drop to Floor" Hi shadownet, Everything in the Poser studio is relative to some reference location. A Figure's Body is normally referenced to 0, 0, 0 in the Poser studio. A piece of conformable clothing is usually referenced to the Body Part to which it is attached. Doing a "Drop to Floor" for a piece of conformable clothing would not normally be done but would not cause a problem because it does not change any of the absolute reference points, i.e., center and end points. Ok? cheers, dr geep ;=]
