Welllll not lost any more. I did copy the pz3 and change it to cr2 and it did load........in 9 minutes. Without the back ground it loaded in 6 minutes. Without the hair and background it loads in 30 sec. I had been watching Poser and when it was "not responding" I closed it down. This time I watched the task monitor and Poser was indeed running (it said it was not) but the mem use rate was slowly going up. When it got to 117,000kb the cpu use rate went to 0 and Poser was finished. Guess the bottom line is "just wait for it to finish" Thanks again for the help raptordude
if you close poser and restart it sometimes works faster once all the little things are cleared out of memory.

Now I'm going to keep all the morphs. Just installed another hd and this one only has poser 5 on it. Funny thing...a fresh install with sr3 is only about 500mb far cry from the 6gb on my other hd..heheheh On this drive I'm only going to load in what I'm working on at the time so it will stay nice and clean and fast (ya right)Wish me luck. So many ideas and soooo little time. raptordude
