i started seriously poser since less than a year, and i was overwhelmed by already made "classes" from dr geep... this guy teached faster than i could learn. if there are second chance classes for previously absent or slow students, count me in...

ynsaen ( ) posted Thu, 15 January 2004 at 7:11 PM

Took me forever to get them to run a CCTV line and monitor in here. Still to high to reach, but I guess they feel I should make some compromises, at least... Do you think I should have gone after a fourth orderly, or was the three enough? ynsaen

Welcome back :) considering you're on lighting here, please check the link.. very interesting and perhaps this could be incorporated into the tut at some point..as in, what happens to shadows???

daverj ( ) posted Thu, 15 January 2004 at 8:04 PM

Lighting seems to be one of the most important things in getting a good render. (sitting down and shutting up)

xoconostle ( ) posted Thu, 15 January 2004 at 8:06 PM

Ah yes, Poser's lights, one of my favorite things about Poser, and for some reason, one of the aspects of the app that many people hate. Looking forward to your tute on the subject, "teach!"

And here I am.

dagar ( ) posted Thu, 15 January 2004 at 10:37 PM

WOOT! I like most would sit quietly in your classes (kinda auditing them) and not said a word...but did many notes and screen captures for future references. I even made Quark docs with your images. Till I found the site that had them already. hehe So...What's up DOC! (pulls out note book and starts to doodle till the doc turns around and starts the class) ;)

Charlie_Tuna ( ) posted Thu, 15 January 2004 at 10:44 PM

now here's a subject you can really shed some light on :-) shadownet, the text/background contrast on your pic is real bad on my monitor, low contrast and 'fringe benifets'

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.
