Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
I usually make a transparency from the hair's template. I usually have to experiment with it a bit, but I eventually get it so that the hair poking out is made invisible. Another thing I've done is render the image twice - one with the hat/cap and one without. Then I use PhotoPaint or PhotoShop to composite the two and do a little 'smugding' around the hat's band to make it look like the hair gets squished in under the cap band.
I've messed with making some helmets, made a few, but more medieval..3ds models, untextured. If the point is to hide the hair, wouldn't it be easier not to put the hair in? just my thought, I'm hardly the poser expert..;) You can IM me if you want; I got a simple Viking (Little Dragon has the real deal in Freebites), Israeli, Arab, and 2 others that escape me..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Hi I have a question for you guys How you deal with officer caps or helmets whether fantasy, medieval or contemporary. What hair do you use, and by this I mean a hair that doesn't poke out of the helmet with little tweaking ;) Do you add it in the postwork or there is one special for this? This apply to any DAZ figure. Also******** I've some caps (ww2) from freebies, but I'm also looking for Russian Officer caps (ww1-2 or current), German Officer caps (ww1-2 or current), US Officer caps (ww1-2 or current) ...And Do you know where I can find GALA military Uniforms? i.e. Like the ones they use in parades,Flag escort, marching(Soviet Elite, US Marines, English, Nazi Soldiers in black Uniforms)
