Well, there you have it... ^_^ My first attempt at clothing. It's a dynamic cloth, I learned how to make it from PoserFashion.net. It obviously needs a lotta work, but it didn't come out too badly for my first attempt. That's what you're seeing now, the very first try at making it. As you can see, I put the material zones in it, that was kinda cool to do, Although it kind of messed up, since they're supposed to be seperate for each side. I guess materials don't like spaces in the names or something. Anyways, tell me what you think. ^_^

~laughs~ That is way better than my first attempt at dynamic clothing! No way was I gonna show mine here. I'd be laughed off the site! ;-)

Good job!! :-)

A much better version of the shirt, now that I know how to make this stuff. ^_^ No material zones in this one, but it looks about 80 times better than my first one. I learned how to use "mirrors" today.

And there ya have it... this is kinda cool! Imagining the possibilities now of what I could put into here...

I would like to see the wireframe model of this.. Looks good for a start

Here ya go. ^_^ The geometry on the shirt kinda sucks, but the skirt I think is pretty good. The skirt really does well on it's draping and stuff. I built that one a little later. My first version of it just fell right off Anime Doll. ^_^ I guess the top hole was too big, so I had to shorten it up as you can see in the pictures to follow...

Here's a perspective of their bad geometry, flat shaded.

And from the back. Hope that helps somewhat.

I think that is good, I would personally increase the amount of polygons a bit and you might get better draping. I dont know what software you are using but it looks good to me for a first try

-Yggdrasil- ( ) posted Tue, 20 January 2004 at 2:59 AM

LOL... my bad! I forgot to say that didn't I. I'm using Wings3D to model it. Actually increase the polygons? Wow... ok. Well, it's just an attempt at seeing if I could actually make clothing or not. I've been trying for awhile now... heh... I guess Metasequoia really did help then. (Yeah, I used that one too, along with Maya, 3D Max, Rhino, trueSpace... something just clicks with me and Wings3D).

I have never used that program before. I would only increase the poly's on the shirt, the skirt looks like it would drape well.
