Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Actually, just look at the picture above and notice the sides of the standard on the left versus the hi-rez on the right. See on the left of the nose, you can spot the points of the jagged mesh then compare that to the smooth nose side on the right. You can spot the jaggedness if you look close. Excellent job. When will it become available and where do we get this wonderful thing? Can you transfer morphs by converting the figure morph .obj files as well? Let me know. smile
I have finished converting all the standard head morphs, and my model has them now. But I've a problem. When I import the model into 3D max, export it, then look at it in UVMapper, it is messed up. I know it's because I'm importing or exporting it wrong, not because of the process I'm using. I imported the standard figure too, and when I exported it, same problem. I need to find out how to import and export .obj files into max without loosing their Mapping. I know it's a simple problem, but I'm a technoclutz, and can't figure it out. I'm posting an image of the problem in a new message. I would appreciate anyone with the answer to let me know what I'm doing wrong. =)

Alright, I've seen some chat here about the Mobius HiRes models of Poser3 days. I remember his first, and for facial closeups, it was fantastic. And the technique isn't too overwhelming even for a technoclutz like me. Sooo...here's a shot of the first rendering. Only problem I've encountered so far is in fitting the Texture to the figure. It needs to be stretched a bit. Comments?
