I wanted to test the speed of the studio against the other poser programs and this is what happen......In Poserpro it took 6 min,In Poser 5(Firefly)it took 18 min...my big surprise was when I imported pz3 into Daz/Studio and the eyes and loincloth went wacky...I couldn't adjust the eyes only was able to move the iris and I seem not to be able to adjust the loin cloth...it took only 8 min to render...So it seems to be slower then Poserpro but faster then Poser 5...I did use the same lighting on all three..So hopfully after all the bugs are fixed this will be a great rendering program...

Judging from these comparisons, I think the Daz render is the clear winner so far (I'm judgins sheerly on the render, and not the problems with the figure import). Obviously, the shadows are smoother and less "muddy" than the other two, and the lighted areas are brighter and more crisp. But the Poser 5 render came out pretty good too. I just don't like the shadow areas of ProPack. They just look too dark in some spots and hide details.

artistheat, can you post a screen capture with opengl rendering of the figure? i have a suspicion that it doesn't look much worse than ds rendering (and it's realtime)! :)
