Does anyone know how to get the Transmapped pony-tail to work in Bryce. I loaded the trans map for the transparency channel -it didn't work. Anyone know how to do it? The ponytail object is two parts-do you apply the texture to each part individually or select both parts and then apply the texture. It really looks like crap in Bryce-Has anyone installed the corel upgrade for Bryce? What do you think of it?

Here's how to do it: Texture each part separately... Select the tail part, open up the material lab, pop up the texture and choose TailTX.jpg for the texture and TailTR.jpg for the transmap. Then click the little down-arrow near the top right, and choose Blend Transparency. Then click the little dot for Transparency under the channel that holds the tex/transmap. Make sure Transparency is set at 0. Repeat for the head part, using HeadTX.jpg and HeadTR.jpg. That should work. Let me know if you have more problems. =) Rosh

Can you do this in Bryce 3d too? I haven't played with Bryce much, but that's the version I have.-Kirsten

Should be able to. Not sure. You might have to rotate the texture or something (if you do, just rotate it the same as you do for normal poser textures). Rosh
