It's the Redfield 3D texturizer. It comes with jpgs mostly of objects (pretzels, strawberries and such) that you can use to texturize your images. However, I have found that I much prefer to use it with plain - less object oriented - textures. And AS's metal looked really good to me, so I stuck it in. You've got four slots to put in the same or different textures, and I often used the same one in all four slots, just scaled differently .. or made darker or lighter. This came out looking like a downpour on velvet. I just went whooooooooaaaaaaaa!

So, I went to look at mloates' chessboard, and that took me to Agent Smith's (very short) metal tutorial with image. I liked the texture, so I pulled that into a filter that I have (and use a LOT), and turned a photo that I thought was good into something that I personally think is bloody marvelous. The creative process is so very Alice down the Rabbit Hole, you know??Could be worse, could be raining.
