My guess too is a name problem. Either the filename itsself or the folder where the image goes to. Try to change that and try not to use special characters - in a first test go back to the old DOS thingie - 8+3. And only standard characters. No "/", ".", " ", etc in the name. AND, maybe you try a different file format. I dont know what you have used right now, but change that. To jpg for example (if you haven't used that already).

If i do understand you right it never worked? Or did it work before and after an update or whatever it doesn't? Well, i hope you agree that it must have to do with your copy, or your system - otherwise we would see many many more reports like that. Do you have any strange disk protection programs or other specialities running? Anti virus, anti whatever... I simply try to find out where the differences to others might be. Have you a file structure that Vue can't deal with? Have you tried to render to screen? To the default location for the "to disk" file? I would firstly try to reinstall Vue completely. If possible even on another computer and see wether it works there or not. It really sounds more like a corrupted installation than anything else. Second (and/or in parallel) i would contact the E-on technical support, it is the best way to find experts and not only guesses. Like ours. Third, if it becomes tight with the deadline, maybe you can find someone who can render it for you. I would offer that but i am on Mac and the transfer could be a little difficult. Therefore i think a Windows user - if possible close to you - would be a better choice.

OK...found a solution to all the problems I have talked about here. Since none of the fixes seemed to work...I went with the idea it was a corrupt installation. So uninstalled..cleaned up..defrag..etc....amd reintalled. Works like a dream...and renders as advertised. So I guess when all else fails...reinstall. Thanks for all your help.
