Nice, but I don't recall any trolls and goblins being together... And if that big guy is a Balrog, I think you're going to have a lot of people unhappy with your take on the critter... :-) It's a shame you can't use Bryce to set up two "saturation" levels; the scene appears to be indoors (and I would guess it's underground), but the lighting looks like filtered sunlight... You might want to do (or re-do) this as multiple renders, each with the background in an Alpha channel, or used as the background for the next layer (whatever will work best), and composited outside of Poser/Bryce...
Actually the troll was the first guy through the door. He was bashing it in. Boromir struck him and it did no good then Frodo stabbed him in the foot with Sting and he pulled back but there was others coming behind him. And the lighting is suppossed to look like filtered sunlight ;) so that is good ... The reading of the book of Marzubal (sp) took place about 7 in the morn with the light streaming directly onto Balin's tomb. The room is an upper level that actually had a large window a good deal out. I do plan on darkening the shadows a little though. And what I am doing is rendering on top of a base for the most part. Adding figures and rendering only that section ...Using the mask render for parts that need it
Grand Indeed, I had always thought of it as a small room, but I went back and find myself quite mistaken, it says "there are a great many orcs out there, some large and evil, and there is something else out there as well, a great cave troll I think" so that settles the mixing of the creatures. I love the way that Gandalf looks I am quite impressed with the work you have done, and I am forced to wonder, though he does look a bit bald. Great job, I can't wait to see the final version.
