Hi, welcome to the club. Well, maybe for a start you may look at that, the animation hero for Vue. I dont think he is on Mac but it gives you an idea what is possible. If you have specific questions, feel free... We will try to answer as good as possible. One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.
Thanks ive seen that its incredible!! I'm liking vue more and more for MAC OSX :-)
Heya Wolf; how you are, mister? I can't speak from a Mac standpoint here, but I certainly hear you on the outdoor scene setup times with other apps. (only LW in my case.) I bought the Vue/Mover combo months ago but haven't really chewed into it, but I think that is going to change. I've tried some Poser animation imports into Vue, added some default atmospheres and basic landscapes and been impressed with the results. I know you're coming from a far more professional background than I, but for me I find myself spending far too much time trying to get an outdoor scene looking good (trees, animated water, animated skies, good looking terrains and rocks etc.) to actually do any animations, which is what I really want to play around with. I love my LW above all my other apps but I think that if I'm honest with myself I know that for outdoor scenes I'll probably get more done if I spend some time with Vue. The only reoccuring complaint that I've noticed is crashing with open GL display with NVidia graphics cards (which, unfortunately is what I have...) I know how the purists feel about this kind of thing, but I've seen nothing but outstanding results from some of these Vue people in their outdoor scenes, (animations included) and think that between LW, Poser (and Cinema in your case) and Vue, your already amazing work will ultimately be able to be completed more efficiently. Just my 2 cents. Best of luck to you man.
"Heya Wolf; how you are, mister? " Im doing fine bro!! I hope things are going great for you too :-) yeah Im trying to get myself fired up for a new major animation project and I am really impressed with the bellino animation clips on the Eon website. Like you I have tried many outdoor lighting/environment tutorials for "My high" end app and after all that complex lighting setup end up with a scene that barely compares to the outdoor lighting that you get when you hit a vue preset atmosphere :-/ and thats not even includind animated water and swaying trees so im giving the VUE4 demo a test run and finding out as much as i can about mover for bringing in my poser animations BTW Looked at some MAC G5's in person today, Yikes what a monster!!! maybe soon;-) good to hear from ya bro, take care
Thanks... happy you like my clips (www.belino.net).
Wabe, you're right, I am on PC(s). But by the past I tried e-on's softs on Mac (at the last Apple Expo), and could say it is the same. I mean, I suppose, the work is almost exactly the same between PC or Mac.

HI Ive been playing with the vue 4.2 demo for MAC OSX and so far I like it alot. Coming from a Cinema4DXL/Lightwave boackground I fing Vue VREY easy to use especially for OUTDOOR scenes My main interest is poser animations and i have been still using the old propack plugin to import poser animation into Cinema 4DXl 7.3.3 to render But i am looking for more outdoor animations because Cinema and Lightwaves outdoor lighting/atmospheres require extensive set up and Never Look as good as your basic Vue /bryce OUTDOOR environments in my opinion:-). Any MAC users here using the vue4/mover combo to render poser figures that have been animated in poser?? your feed back would be appreciated. thanks :-)My website
