Thanks for everyone who voted for my image, I sincerely feel that there was a lot of work put into many of the other pics but I appreciate being able to come up with a new challenge idea! To quote Dennis Leary, "I celebrate a wide variety of emotions, all the way from anger to pure rage." So I hope no one minds if I don't choose a Valentine's or love-related topic for this month's challenge.... (grins) I checked over the last few month's topics, but if I'm duplicating a recent topic feel free to let me know. This month's challenge is to create an image of a dwelling. Not A dwelling, YOUR dwelling, your ideal house, castle, shack, hovel, basement, apartment... Whatever kind of place YOU would like to live in. It can even be the place you live in currently, and of course the focus is on challenging yourself, not necessarily realism or detail! Go crazy, be extravagant, a person's conception of their ideal sanctuary reflects deeply... (bows to all of you)

very cool idea and one I'd have to say hasn't been seen here before, or at least, for a very long time. :)

Room of the past. I don't want to live there, just visit to enter the mind of that little girl and see what she saw and feel what she felt But it is tricky the way is covered with brushwood because I have no memories.

SndCastie ( ) posted Thu, 12 February 2004 at 4:54 PM

An old English pub in the Lake District or the Dales. Heaven. ( With a big paddock out back for all my pink elephants). Rendered in Bryce, I built the pub, plants from Rdna, trees, cars etc from various freebie sites.

Originally started with the hope of it fitting the bryce challenge theme, but it doesn't. It does however fit here. Link is to a larger version in my gallery. House built and all rendered in bryce. Postwork done in Corel (yes I did say corel) photopaint.

I figured I'd spend half of the month on this challenge, and the rest finishing my February Bryce challenge picture! Modeled in Rhino, rendered in Bryce 5, some postwork and filtering in Photoshop. The scale is intentional... (well, the cabbages ARE kinda too big?)Thanks for looking!
