This looking REALLY good Rain! Lovely clean mesh :o) A few tweaks you might want to consider - Most important one to my mind, I think you have her chin a little too pointed. If you bring the jawline down a little below the outer corners of her mouth the chin will soften and you'll get a more accurate jawline. I think the outer corners of your model's eyes sweep up a little too much, looks to me as though they point nearly horizontal in the refs, higher than the inside corners but pointing horizontal (ish) does that make sense? The upper outside edge of the eyesockets could maybe be a little sharper? It looks like you have a very smooth transition from eye area to temple whereas that sharp shadow in the lower right pic suggests hers is a little more defined. Difficult to be sure though. I think the philtrum could be a little more defined and maybe the lips could be a lttle more full. Oh, and this just a personal preference really, I don't see any reason to terminate the edge loop running up from the middle of each eye, you have a fairly low density mesh on top of the skull, I'd be inclined to take it up over the skull to the back. I might do the same with one of the edges running up from the nose too but they look much cleaner than the one from the eye. I don't know, it just spoils an otherwise beautiful mesh for me LOL! - Baz
beautiful work! comming along nicely. as far as crits. rthe neck is pretty thick there. maybe the head is a little wide? look at the cheeck/side of head compared to the ear. the ar looks a bit burried as if there is alot of fat on the side of the face. I don't know. looks a bit masculine compared to the ref art. The eyes look awsome-really nice! keep up the work and keep postin'.
lightwave, photoshop, oreo's...tools of the trade.
It's looking very nice to me. In the reference pics the upper lip looks a little larger, but I don't think it actually is. Just the way the camera is seeing it or something. Look at her eyes now. On the edges of the eyelid, they need to be extruded just a tad where the eyelashes go. It's one of those details people won't notice unless it isn't there. She also has just a very slight indentation on each side of the chin that makes her chin rather well defined. There are also two rather well defined bumps on her forehead. You could probably do that with the bump map though. There also seem to be some slight indentations from the jaw just in front of her ears. I know, niggling details that really depend on just how real you want to make the model. The ears are a little close to the head. Her ears stick out a bit more.

Some changes.. cleaned up some unneeded edges, worked on the eyes and temples.. worked on a more of a turned view to try to form the cheeks and temples. (weird how I forgot to do that before now) Hopefully her eyes are positioned better... also pulled down the outter corners again.Moebius n bonestructure, thanks for the input. I don't have the best references. Her eyes are just about different in all the pics I've seen... and it seems her head, facial features are also different. lol
