Recently I have not been able to download some of the zips from the Poser site. i.e. today the Jack in the Box on wheels by Godzilla. I am using download accerator. The dowload box appears, I click to download & an Authentication box appears asking for user name & password. Dont know what to put in here, even so this shouldnt be happening! I have also noticed that the IE page for the link does not appear & comes up with the usual error cannot find site.... Any suggestions. Del

Some sites really, really don't like these programmes and, quite often, they either don't don't work, or trigger the authentication box you've seen, when downloading a remotely hosted file via Renderosity. The only suggestion I can make is to turn the accelerator off and try again. Paul

Thanks Paul. Just done that now I get the usual problems with the yahoo/Geocities site. Tried as per the online guide but stiil no joy. Still I try another time as I`ve found some days it works ok another no good. Always seems to be with Geocities site. I wonder why? Del

Hi Del! Its because the file is activated by maybe 4-5 persons at a time and the server doesnt allow more users per file. Thats why you get "shut out". The only way is to keep trying. Its like a busy signal. Some sites tell you that the file is gone. Thats not true either. I use "get right". That usually works and if it doesnt the first time, the program will keep contacting the site until it does. Live well.. /Jacko
