Subject: Shark ready for mimic--Interested?

I playing yesterday with Zbrush and made the old Zygote Shark (sold right now by DAZ) ready for Mimic + some funny smile expression, if you think you can use it let me know and I will upload the new cr2 files.

Now, that's cute. Note sure if I would have a use for it in the future because I do not do much annimation stuff at the moment. But other people might like to add it to their collection of Mimic characters.

Thanks, it is not only for animations, I included the cute smile as a morph too.. Ok now I go to pack the files. here one image done using the new cartoon smile morph, no textures on it as only velvet and 3D noise node..

here you can see the setting of the skin, velvet and noise, it is great to get the soft look skin.. and it work great with a little light.. if you put a little more light bellow him you get so effect as in the image above message 4. without making any textures.. and because this is cartoon everything is allowed :)) change only the color for the mouth, the teeth was without noise only velvet node. I am happy you like this :)) for that I thank you :) P.S Sharen, he reminds me of the Nemo's shark too a little bit, that was also why I created the expression but don't really got the same effect, the model need better resolution, so very soon you get a new one, including new geometry and expressions..a very funny cartoon sharky

Hey, that's cool, especially the pic where it says 'HI' - guess that is only funny in german. LOL [because shark means Hai in german and Hi is pronounced the same way ... if that makes sense ;-)]

Thanks Chuck! igohigh : that why I play with Zygore shark , because was not best lol I have so long the files here ;) Puntomaus : not only in German in Dutch too, saw a time ago a TV spot.. a man say HAI!!! HAI!! to a woman that was in the sea, and she answer him back HI !! HI !!! :) that why I made the HI in the render.. ;)) good eye!!

Thanks Dave, almost something new to play with :)) as we know he is not perfect but still you can have much fun with. He looks much better if you use smooth option in Poser5 rendering.. works great with the low geometry edges but not for materials.. Cath

Heheh cute :o) And Hi and "Haj", which is danish for shark is also pronounced very much the same. So the joke works in danish too ;o)

(yes, waverider, you can use this in poser, that is what it is intended for and typing in capitals is the internet equivalent of shouting)

hi hon. After you download the file, open it with winzip and extract it to your Poser directory -- Cath has set things up pretty nice for us :) You MUST have the old zygote shark to use it as it is described in the first few posts up there (this would be the DAZ3D shark, as well). If you do not have this, then you can't use this file. Once you are in Poser, open it, find the character file, and load it into the scene. select the head of the shark and start playing :)
