Hi Ive recently started to broker products to daz3d and was wondering how long it takes to get the submissions cleared on marketed, If you are a broker could you tell me this, and also how long does it take for them to get back to you via email to let you know it thas the green light?? this is one of the two products ive submitted...theyve tested it and its 100 percent , i know this as I rang them..does it take like a month from submission??LOL i hope not :-(

Contact daz on monday and they should be able to help you. Calling might get you a faster answer than an email.

People i have lost at least 6 weeks worth of sales due to the inabilty of Daz3d to setup an account (does this occur with all new brokered artists), I am very dissapointed...:-( I apologise to those who are waiting for my pak, Ive been very patient up to now, I thought DAZ3D would have seen that these products are going to change the the concept of the manican like figures and make them much more lifelike. I have even told daz of mistakes in ther site like spelling mistakes etc.. and nothing has been done about that either, I also send emails and get no response and then am forced to phone them which has cost me in acces of 100$ so far.. I have spent months on end making these products - which i might add they asked me to create... if this is not sorted out within 1 week i will have no other choice but to sell via Renderosity... I have bills to pay and they are mounting.

and also this is not a url its a chatroom hahaha , but rest assured when i post a showcase website later I will make sure the spelling is perfect, although i spell in english like colour not color etc..but color is ok too , its just american english... this is the spelling mistake--- accout, maybee im just picky lol If you are a current DAZ Brokered Artist, please note that the new submission page is located on your accout page in the DAZ Online Store. If this is your first submission, the submission process begins here. Please send an email to broker@daz3d.com for a link to upload your new project for review.

Well... Accout in stead of account is more a typo than a spelling mistake. But I get your point. There ARE spelling mistakes/errors on Daz' site. Partly becourse they apparently does not proof-read what their brokers submit. I am not a bnative english speaker so I would very much PREFER if someone proof-read my sales material before it was posted. I thought that Daz did so, but just today I saw something on another product where it was clear that it was posted right from the broker's own... shall we say... less than optimal spelling. Just as on this site, it leaves one thinking "UNPROFESSIONAL"

.... yes two minds are better than one :-), i have a sharp eye for spelling mistakes (of others i might add ;-/)lol, am very picky, but try to be helpful in a constructive manner...:-) most people dont see it anyway lol but some do other than that i think the way daz market there stuff is very good, The newsletters etc.. that why i chose exclusive brokership to them...the birhtplace of the millenuium figures :-)

It's a matter of attitudes.

I think it is more about effort. A postitive attitude doesn't get things done. This post is a great example of how important it is to follow through. But you do have to be willing to keep trying sometimes.

Attached Link: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=mannequin

(Quoting from the attached link): Word History: A department store mannequin is often not a man and often not little, yet mannequin goes back to the Middle Dutch word mannekijn, the diminutive form of man...The word borrowed from Dutch now has the form manikin. We later adopted the French version of the Dutch word as well, giving English mannequin, and this is now the form most commonly encountered...

I like the simpler Dutch form ;-)
