Curious labs has a free cinema 4d plugin it is for version 7 but it might work with version 8. You can get it at the link.Hey, I talked to someone a while back about getting poser stuff into C4d, and he suggested the following: 1: Set up all the stuff as you like it in poser. Get it all just right. 2: Export as an .obj. 3: Use the plugin at http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Form.Contrib=Niki&Topsectionid=0 to set the textures. Hope this helps! Jack
A few tips: Check the ReRo-Cinema-freestuff-area for jddog's-Tutorial. Or here: http://www.renderosity.com/tut.ez?Form.ViewPages=508 Or check those links: Poser to Cinema without plugin: http://arcana.daz3d.com/index.php?id=143 Poser to Cinema with Niki's magnificent plugin: http://www.mazak-grafikwelt.de -> forum -> cinema -> Amazones plug-in tutorial for use with Cinema 8.2 Niki is also MOD over at Mazak's forum... The CuriousLabs-Plugin is... "useable" but Niki's plugin is much better! Check my gallery, all pics are made using Niki's plugin... Does this help? ;-)

jddog has an excellent pdf tutorial as his featured freestuff item on his home page. It is for Poser 5 to Cinema 4d r8.5 ShoshannaThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Yo. I'm miffed. I've recently begun using C4D and obviously I'm trying to move some Poser figures o'er into C4D. The problem is material zones are getting all messed up. Example! I tried to move Hankster's Eclipse vehicle to C4D and the maps weren't were they were supposed to be. I can't remember, but like the hood was on the side door or something of that nature. I've only tried to do this a few times, so it is very possible I am screwing something up in the conversion process. I'm exporting as .OBJ and then opening in C4D. I'm using Poser 4 and Cinema4D r8. So, what happened? Help would be much apprecited since I got carpel tunnel in my wrist whilst putting textures on a figure that had around 35 material zones. Then I saw they were all messed up! Damnit. lol. Ciao. Thanks in advance for any help.
