wow the rainbow reflect visor is very nice...

-Yggdrasil- ( ) posted Sun, 21 March 2004 at 10:45 AM

That's the "Bubble" material on the visor part. The green of it was done with the "Electron Scan" material. The gold ones were the "Gold" series of materials and the red visor is "Frosted Glass", all provided by Poser 5 itself.

Great work on Riddikun on the renders and the free stuff package. I am anxious to set up the jet pack for Nanoshi, she has great imagination. Great work and thank you as always Hack! Great work also yggdrasil! I am working my buttstock off on more packages in cooperation with The3dZone and Nanoshi, so please forgive me for not talking here so much lately. Only a couple more days until the Battle Force Senbotsu is released. thank you marty

well could say same thing :) i may remain "mute" soon, because i need to go back on my "eyes" brand for 3rd generation, have 3 doax suit cloning in progress, and the sentai team for the website i contribute to... anyway nanoshi seems very much into anime thing, and i sue would like to keep talking with, and give ideas as i am somehow into anime too. about the jet pack, will it be part of a commercial item, or as freebie ? hmm btw, before i make any mistake, nanoshi, how do i refer to you ? with "her" or "him" ?

SenshiTaurus ( ) posted Mon, 22 March 2004 at 2:19 AM

I thought Nanoshi was a her...but I could be wrong. BTW, Riddokun, have you ever thought on doing eyes for the anime doll?

-Yggdrasil- ( ) posted Mon, 22 March 2004 at 5:38 AM

I'll wait until he answers that one before I say anything. ^_^

Here's the 'finished' product when I say finished I mean all the bits are in place, they all need poserizing properly now and the jetpack arms setting up etc. But this is basically what the package will contain. I'm hoping it will be a market item. P.S. I'm a girl :)

Cute! PS: Ithink it may be time to start a new thread. This one took almost two minutes to load on broadband connection.

senshi taurus: no i never considered it because of the structure of AD eyes. they are meant to be used in cartoon mdoe and so have custom detaisl and materials to ensure they look correctly in thismode. DOAnimEyes for AD would be pointless and irrelevant, because my eyes are (or i try to) between typical anime look and realistic one, i choosed the video game 3d animation style for my brand, but i considered making also "bishoujo" eyes for various characters (means anime/manga typical eyes, like some availale for koshini) but again, it would work for spherical eye props. AD eye props are strange and i doubt ti be able to ashieve anything with them. Could pain directly on Head's eyewhite texture, but well, what if you want to move the eyes/gaze ? so, sorry it is not considered. BTw talking about market, I am on some heavy projects that really takes me much time now, , more than any of my previous freebies, and i thought of maybe daring making a try at RMP myself, but i would really appreciae/like any advice regarding quality criterais, and such, i mean what is expected, what level you need and what details/things you must work especially on or improve when you aim for RMP. anyway it is just a thought i have in mind, but nothing serious as i am not really skilled, at least even only a lame texturer so far, so i doubt it worths the pain, but well i see that some things i planned as freebies are taking too much time, work and size for now and go against my reallife obligations, so i don't know what to do...

I'm no Marketplace or Freebie expert, but I do believe that if it takes time that you consider valuable out of your life to make such a thing and you feel it has value that other's would invest in, then you should market it. If you did it out of love or it really took little "effort" or you deem it not worthy of getting some value from your efforts for it, then it should be a Freebie. That's just my unworthy take on the subject. Your mileage may vary according to other opinions stated here.

Riddokun, I am always willing to help new merchants enter the market place via my store. I will help you and guide you and assist you on your project if I feel that you have good project for sharing of profit.

insomniaworks ( ) posted Mon, 22 March 2004 at 8:56 PM

I am glad to say that the BattleForceSenbotsu has finely come out on the market after about a month of preperation. I guess Nanoshi and I did a good job because it has sold two copies already. Thank you triggermansam and Billy for being our first two customers. Riddokun and yggdrasil have raised an important topic to me these days. For me this is work, I envey those who just buy these products and just have fun with them, because to put out a good item means working far beyond the time that it quits being fun. As a real mercant and producer of MP items, I work very hard and and miss out on a lot of fun stuff in life. I work far too many hours and I am almost ashamed to tell you how many hours go into these projects. I am also ashamed to say that profits are slim compaired to how much work it really takes to produce these items.

Wooh! Sexily cute outfit ! And clever use of the catsuit's material zones, HackWorthless !

HackWorthless ( ) posted Thu, 25 March 2004 at 4:59 PM

it's supposed to be a japanese girl's phys-ed uniform.

Riddokun ( ) posted Thu, 25 March 2004 at 6:45 PM

maybe the short is a bit too narrow, anyway.. bt it look good. ps: hackworthless - question: why/what about this strange "character silhouette"-only black outline you try on some of your newest pictures ?. Before that you were doing without any black outline, and now you just outline the silhouette (and this is odd, because you can see one side of a arm outlined, and the "interior" side of the arm is not :) do you consider using lines after all ? i preferred your previous style...
