I can't get to seem to get transmaps for hair to work right. I've set max and min to 100% and played with the falloff but instead of strands of hair I'm getting see through hair. any suggestions?

Are you having the problem before or after rendering? Before rendering the trans looks quite odd. It is "see through" with dots. After rendering it looks good. trans.jpg

after rendering. instead of being lifelike and wirey it's hollow and see through

It sounds like the texture map isn't loaded or the trans map isn't loaded by the way you are describing it.

heyas; you meant set transparency max to 100% and min to 0%, right?
