Im doing some alterations to make the V3 catsuit like a hero costume, Does anyone know a good Tutorial for transmapping in the new P5? Im trying to basically remove the arms and legs to make it a unitard with a high collar like this... (see attached URL Jpg above) Also if anyone knows a good set of bracers that would be stellar!!

AFAIK, there's no difference in transmaps between Poser 4 and 5...the settings are just different. For P5, go to the Material Room and apply the transmap. Then set Transparency to 1 and Transparancy Falloff to Zero. I think that's right. I don't use P5 that often so I could be wrong.

I'm thinking you need to make (or get) your own custom transmap for the clothing you're using, designed to your specifications. Poser 4 (and to a great extent 5 as well) don't create the trans maps, they just use them. I make custom trans maps in Photoshop myself when the need arises. You could make the transmap for the outfit have the bracers as well, if you don't need the bracers to be separate props. You'd probably also want a custom texture as well to match the trans map. If you asked really nicely, I might even make the map for you if I can find the time. Alternatively you could go low tech and simply turn the visibility off for the parts of the catsuit you don't want to see - you can approximate what you're looking for with that, including the bracers. Hope this helps, Unzipped

Heya, Thanks guys. I guess its my holy grail to do a shulkie like character since the first issue waaay back in her first series (up to three now) I'll give your advice a go. P5 is so darn unsual that its almost apples an oranges. Unzipped, thanks, I had not thought of doing the bracers as part of the catsuit itself. It would same me a load of time. If I recall the black is the part not seen and the white for the seen.

"If I recall the black is the part not seen and the white for the seen." You are correct. Sounds like you're well on your way then. I'd be very interested to see what you come up with (what did you end up doing about the body morphs by the way?) - I'm a big shulkie fan myself. Unzipped

What I had to do for P5.. is to basically toss the character pack morph out.. and relied on upping the muscularity manually for V3.. I believe if memory serves I used "Muscle 2" at 1000. Next I created the Catsuit and confromed it..and Dialed the muscle two up manually to the same and it worked like a charm..

Ps.. I'll post some of her once I get a few good renders out of her. But since I was eyeing doing a webcomic with her possibly I had to convert my she hulk texture to a different color for trademark issues.
