Subject: Poser 5 thumbnails?

I've created both .rsr and .png thumbnails for a mat pose and both work in poser 4. The pose was created with mat pose edit and works fine. But whatever I do the thumbnail doesn't show up in poser 4, its just blank with a transparent circle. so if the thumbnail works in poser 4, can anyone tell me why its not working i poser 5? the .png was created in photoshop 7 and the .rsr was created in p3do explorer.

I remember that thumbnail format of png must be a indexed color with 256 color. Convert it with Photoshop before saving.

It's probably the bug in P3d0Explorer, in the latest version the rsr2png is wrong, it reverses the alphachannel. Download the PLUGIN called rsr2png and put that in P3DO instead, and I think it will make them work :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

In Photoshop, make sure the image you want isn't the background. If it is, select it and make it a layer then delete the background layer. You should only have one layer now: Layer 1. Also check the Channels palette and make sure there's an alpha channel. Save it that way and it should appear in Poser.
