I ordered it in February, and finally got the call yesterday that it was shipping out and would be here today. I can't wait, I will use it for the first time at the Rennfest 2004 tomorrow it's one of the largest Porsche events there is. It's held one every three years. I will post some feedback as soon as I can. Randy

Ok I could not wait here is one on the first shots. There seams to be very little noise and great depth.

Ooh wow! Do you have a picture of the MKII? Looks like a wonderful camera!

Randy - You do know that I've never liked you, right? :P Oh the jealousy ... oh oh. hehehe. Too sweet. On paper the Mk II looks like a beast - looks like Canon really outdid themselves. Talk about "drool worthy". Definitely want to know if it holds up in the real world. Would love to see some of the shots from Rennfest. Congrats! -=>Donald

Ok I got up early and Michelle my wife was sick, so I had to skip the Rennfest. I did get to go and get some photos close to the house I just had to get some time in with it. Some impressions from the fist brief usage, are that the AF very fast I was using 9 point center AF in servo mode it locks up quick and holds AF lock better that the 1D no question. Donald the ETTL ll seams to be a large improvement also. Randy
