No, the t-shirt isn't to hide anything. It's supposed to be poking fun at the whole idea of demons. You know, spending their whole day torturing humans. At home she doesn't wear the tiny, spiky leather outfits. Some ideas I'm kicking around are to have a table next to the couch with her horns on it(maybe suction cups on the ends) and some wings hanging on a rack in the background.
I hope you're kidding, Jeff - I've only seen half an episode of Angel and three episodes of Buffy (one was just pure camp and whatever I was doing on my computer at the time held my interest better than it did, one dispatched the Lord of the Vampires WAY too easily, and I don't remember the other one)... I may have to watch it now! :-) Oh, and I love the concept for this image, "Demon, After Hours"... :-)
I tried watching one episode of Buffy. It was so horrifically lame, I don't know if I could stomach another one. The Angel show sounds kind of funny though. Glad you guys like the picture. I wasn't sure how people would react to it. Originally, she was going to be on the toilet, reading a magazine but that didn't work out. Not getting all the right props, etc. Maybe once I get my hands on the right stuff, I'll do that.
Looks to me like you have the "Demoness" aspect of her going pretty well. I would say that you keep her "DemonessNESS" - ha! - at about the same level you have already and possibly concentrate any revisionary efforts of an attitudinal nature on making her looked just about like you're on the way to doing -- that being, kicked back, channel surfing, temporarily out of the work loop. You might want to follow a rule like: Strange characters in recognizable situations OR Recognizable characters in strange situations. For my money, she's a strange character. She's obviously a demon. Those horns on the table might fit well with the ambience of her kicking back on Friday nights. Just a thought or two. But devilishly nice work, I'd say. In fact I do say. Larry F PS: Come to think of it, though, Demons (and Demonesses) probably work Friday nights. Just look at the traffic.
