I just purchased the utility packs and am posting images of some results to hopefully get some assistance on what I have done wrong.

If anyone has purchased this, could you offer some advice? Thanks, Lee

More than likely you need to zero out all the face MTs before applying the next one. I had similar results with a face expression pack I got for V3. The expression pose didn't conatin all the zero settings for all the dials, only the dials that were not zero. So I have to run a special zero-all face expression before applying an expression. This is probably what's happening to you. Your face dials are adding together and not being zeroed out. Try making sure they are all zero before applying the next face setup.

Mason, thanks for the reply... however.. the face morphs are INJ's from, the V3 Morph Expansion pack from Daz. Each "face" is a setting, i.e., AlienHdMale1 (set at 1), AlienHdMale2 (set at 1) etc.. etc.. there are no other dials active. These settings are then saved as a new CR2 then used with the morph utility that I purchased. I am attempting some other work arounds to see if I can get it to work... I have also sent a message to the vendor of the reply to seek assistance... but have not yet had a reply.

Let me also add.. that for each face, I did remove the previous morphs... :)

I have that utility, but I haven't tried it (to be honest I forgot I had it LOL) I'll give it a try when I get home.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Lee, all posted images are Mikes. Are you having the same problems with V3s too ? Please, be sure that u are using the original M3 object file, this utility is very dependent of vertices order. Try to reinstall M3 and transfer the morphs again. If the problem persists, please, tell me, it's the first time that somebody reports a bug, i'm excited... :)

mmogul ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 8:03 AM

I forgot this : Please, reinstall the original M3 AND V3, and apply the SR1s. This utility swap the deltas values, so if there is problems with V3 obj , there will be problems with the generated M3 morph. I made this image right now, V3 HdHag applied on M3 See next post

MMogul I did reinstall M3 and V3, reinstalled the Head and Body morph packs, updates and SR1, and am still having difficulty. My process is as follows: Install M3 Install Morph Packs Install Morph Pack Updates Install SR1 Run Poser Load M3 SR1 Apply head and body morphs from Pose Directory Save new CR2 as "!M3 Complete" Install V3 (etc...) Shut down Poser Load Utility Locate !V3 Complete CR2 Select Morphs from list (Copies OBJs to folder on Desktop) Load Poser Load !M3 Complete Double-Click on Head, Select add morph target Add Morph and Test with a value of 1.0 Still getting the distortion. Thanks

The Frankenstein morph worked

LeeEvans ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 8:32 AM

My pic 4 above is what came out of the HdHag morph.

Dave ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 9:18 AM

Looks to me like the morph for the neck isnt being transferred over in the HdAlien pic. I dont have the program myself so I cant be sure if that would solve that problem. Dave

LeeEvans ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 9:25 AM

that's how it looks to me as well... but as you can see, some work okay, others.. not so good... :) The V3 Male3 head worked fine on M3... and the M3 Frankenstein morph worked on V3... so I am at a loss as to what the issue can be... unless Im doing something wrong in the copying..

LeeEvans ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 9:26 AM

Also... the utility only works for the head.. body morphs are not included as part of the package.

Dave ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 10:26 AM

Odd about the body morph thing because some head morphs effect the neck as well. Dave

I use this tool, and it works fine.

This is from the utility description page :

Limitations:
-Input file type : .CR2 ;
-Output file type : .OBJ ;
-only the head part of the morph will be tranferred.

As you can see, the neck part is not transfered.

LeeEvans ( ) posted Thu, 06 May 2004 at 3:27 PM

Eco.. have you had any problems with yours at all? I also "spoke" with n0s4ra2, and he had no difficulties either. If you have the V3 Morph Expansion, would you mind testing on those head morphs and posting images? Thanks

eco ( ) posted Fri, 07 May 2004 at 7:50 AM

I will post it saturday...

LeeEvans ( ) posted Fri, 07 May 2004 at 8:24 AM

Thanks I'll look forward to them

mmogul ( ) posted Fri, 07 May 2004 at 2:56 PM

Lee, when u reinstalled the daz char u solved most of your problems. But we still having a problem : Some V3/M3 head injections affects two body patrs, head and neck. HMT tools will only transfer the head part. This is not really a problem with most of the morphs, but the alien morph has an extreme narrow head base. The neck's top is not affercted, so we have this ugly joint. I'm on a work travel now, when i back to my office i will produce a 'quick and dirty' patch to solve this detail, and i will send it to u. Latter i will integrate it to the HMT tools, update and mail all buyer. Give me up to 10 days. Thanks

LeeEvans ( ) posted Fri, 07 May 2004 at 4:33 PM

Thanks for the help MMogul.

LeeEvans ( ) posted Fri, 21 May 2004 at 8:29 AM

MMogul... I have not yet heard back from you. Have you been able to make any progress at all?

mmogul ( ) posted Fri, 21 May 2004 at 4:31 PM

Sorry, i was very busy these days, i started the process yesterday. I think that tomorrow i will send a version. Please, PMme a mail address that can be used to send the program.
