Hi All,

Pope here, sending out a distress signal to the gang for some info.

So, I'm working on a Mac, been meshing some things I'd like to move on the Marketplace, and am having trouble with a couple props and their associated textures when Marketplace tester (on a PC) is checking the material before giving the greenlight for postage.

The issue is that, despite the fact that I placed the prop texture imagemaps in the Runtime/Textures directory, when the tester tries to open those props, or rather, calls the figure that has them pre-attached, Poser says, "Where are the textures?". Now, of course one could manually re-plug the imagemaps into the mat for the prop, but...for purposes of the Marketplace, install needs to be more user friendly, as it should be.

Any thoughts on what's up with this on the Poser-end, or is this a Mac/Pc thing.

Hoping to make this download dual-plat, and would appreciate any input.

Thanks, Mates.

Pope

ps, oh yeah, here's the figure...

The problem may be the texture paths within the mat files (I assume we are talking about mat files). To make these paths compatible with every version of poser you should use the following syntax :Runtime:Textures:Your Folder:Your texture.jpg If this is the case then it should work.

If I understand your problem, you're having trouble with an installer. File path delimiters differ between Windows and OS X/9, but neilp covered that. However, may I humbly suggest you just zip the necessary files in whatever folder structure you recommend, and don't include any installer app or package. IOW, let the user decide where (or if) s/he wants to install it.
