Well, first it appears as though you have the placement of the lips in your texture all wrong. Also, selecting "Texture changes apply to entire figure" is a DEFINITE No-No, as far as Vickie goes. I've personally not had a single problem with texturing her, after realizing that all body parts have to be assigned textures individually. I'd love to know how you came up with this problem... I've never seen this before. Did you try to create your own UV map for her? Still, though, that seems pretty weird....what exactly is it you did? It would be easier to help you if you gave more info. As far as I know, her lips are a part of the .OBJ mesh and can't be hidden, without simply leaving a blank and empty space which can't be textured. Mike

One thing--I believe you have the the colors on in the underlying Vicky--make everything white except the eyelashes (you can change this after you see how the texture looks--you may want to 'shade' it with color but start white first). But Mike is most likely right. I don't think you have placed the lips correctly over the lips on the template.

ok what i did was pretty much just editing on a previous vicky texture. i took a face and matched it over the original tex. then i coloured the rest of the jpg to match the skin. the apply to entire figure was not on, i've done this method on the p4 tex's and it worked fine, i know there is a big differance now but i thought that as long as you have the orignal tex and just make a change it should still work. i streched the lips down further to show how the lips were on the tex but were not working. i've never had much luck using the actual template cant do jack with that but i'll give that another shot maybe it'll work for me now jeff

Jeff, if you have a paint program with layers, put the template on as the background or first layer. Then add the layer you are working on as the second layer and make it about 50% transparent. You will soon see if the lips are where they belong. If they are not right over the lip area, for instance, on the template--they will NOT fit the model. If you are putting a new face texture over an old one, it should work exactly the same over the template--and be accurate.

Oh, also, make your model ALL white except for the eyelashes, as I mentioned above-before you render with the new texture.

The lips also don't appear to be selected .. the tecture should apply through even if it is colored .. It looks like you just did the skin for the head
