Anybody got a super-ultra-dumbed-down-short-bus-to-school tutorial on texturing? E V S

What kind of texturing? Clothes? Props? Scenery? People? Hair? There are different techniques for each one.

I don't know about the export as a .lwo file from your previous thread, but if you can group the materials where you want the specific textures and export as a Wavefront .obj file, you can create a texture map to apply textures. Hair and fur from what I've found are the hardest things to texture and usually require multiple transmaps to get the right look. I'm not real up on modeling myself, just learned Wings3D, hopefully someone else will know an easier or quicker way to help you.

Here we go. Here's the chopped cloak (I am gonna add a collar). I need tips on how to fur-ify it. E V S

Look for Brycetech's stuff. He came up with a furry cat and bat and boa and such more than a year ago. (Look at 3dcommune) Little Dragon has some free props including a fur "Daniel Boone" style hat which you could examine as well.
