You might still be able to grab it if you hit the exact right spot under your menu bar. If not try this: With Poser shut down, find the file "Poser.ini" in the path: Poser 4RuntimePREFSPoser.ini Make a backup copy of "Poser.ini". Open the original in a text editor, the line "ANIM_PALETTE_LOC" controles the position of the animatio pallet. Try editing the line using these values: ANIM_PALETTE_LOC 112 364 You may have to experiment with diffrent values depending on your screen resolution, the values above work ok for a resolution of 1024 x 768. Doing it this way you don't have to change all your other settings back to the factory default.
By the way, Dr. Geep, your tutes rock. I'm plowing through the animation tute right now. I've been using Poser since v.2 but haven't really ever taken the time to delve into its depths. Last week, however, I scored a freelance gig with ADP to design and animate a character for them in Poser, so I'm on a steep learning curve. Your stuff is really helping me.

This is so stupid, but I'm sure everyone has done it at some point. I was working with Poser 4 this morning when I inadvertantly dragged the Animation Palette window up UNDER the program's submenu list -- you know, the line in which the basic menu commands live: File, Edit, Figure, Object, etc etc. So now the Animation Palette's top line is hidden under the submenu list, and of course that's the only place where you can drag the damn thing around. So now I can't move it, and it's stuck in the upper left corner of my screen. Is there any way I can reposition it? I've tried launching the program every way I can think of, but no soap. I'll take a screenshot of this if I have to, to illustrate my dilemma, but I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about.
