Subject: Morph dials are gone

FRDungeonMaster ( ) posted Tue, 25 May 2004 at 7:36 AM ยท edited Wed, 08 January 2025 at 7:08 AM

Im using poser 5 and all of a sudden my morph dials have disapeared. They were working fine and now I cant get them to come up at all. Has anyone had this problem? Anyone have a solution?

If there's a plus sign next to the word "Morphs" in the palette, they're collapsed. Click the plus sign to open it. If that's not it, could you explain more? Perhaps include a screen shot?

I wouldnt know what to give a screenshot of in this case but I can explain a little better perhaps and Ill try to keep it simple. Where I was able to click on a body part and the morph dials would pop up nothing happens. Simply put, I no longer have access to dials in the pose room.

Is the palette itself completely gone? If so it's probably still there, but somewhere off-screen where it's useless to you. Try Edit > Preferences and reset everything to launch to factory state. Then close and re-open Poser. You should get everything back, and you can rebuild your customised workspace then.

Try select a figure/prop whatever CTRL and I to bring up the dial parameters.

And then... you set a UI dot so that you can easily restore with a click! I accidentally had the dials vanish once too, but I think I managed to open them up by clicking on something in the pull-down menus. Carolly

"Simply put, I no longer have access to dials in the pose room." Ah, so all the dials are gone? In that case it's probably true your parameters palette is closed. You can also open it by clicking the Window menu and checking Parameter Dials.

Well, I have tried all of the above options and I still have no parameter dials even though it has a check beside Parameters. Im totaly bumfuzzled.

Have you changed your screen resolution lately? I think I read somewhere that that could effect the palettes. I could be wrong though. Aside from that, maybe you need to reinstall?
