Subject: !!!!!Parameter dials gone WONKY!!!!!

I just recently upgraded my home version of Poser 5 with the lastest patch (SR4). I had done the same to my work version and had no problems with it. The problems I'm having is in the parameter dial palette. All the listings (except for the scale dials) are listed as single digits. When I double click on a channel there appears a long string of zeros in the place to enter numbers, which I can edit but the computer freezes and then does nothing. Only way I've been able to use the parameter dials is thru the black triangle that appears to the right and clicking on "Settings". That works fine if I want to spin the morph to a whole number (1,2,3, etc). But if I want to do like ".5" or some fraction I get an error message that I can only enter numbers in the field. Is there some file somewhere that's gotten corrupted? I even did a clean install and then later did the patch and still had the same problem. When I did that I lost editing capabilities in the material room. I then later did another clean install (after first uninstalling in both cases) and only applied patch SR3 and the figure updater. Still having the same parameter dial problem but at least I got access back to the material room. Can any of you tech gurus out there help me determine what's gone wrong? Thanks, Dave

Assuming you're running Windows, make sure your regional settings are set to "English(US)"(decimal separator is a period, not a comma).

Changing the regional settings seems to have corrected the problem. The regional settings were set like they should be. Somehow Poser was seeing a different setting. Did a quick change to one country (Canada) and then back to United States. Thanks for the tip. Dave P.S. Dont know if whatever it was had affected my other 3D programs or just Poser. Turns out my Poser Pro Pack was doing the same thing.
