Ok I have been an artist for about 20 years mostly landscapes and such I have worked with all forms of art coal,pen,brush,Ect.. Also dabble in Computer art Mostly in Photoshop and such About a year or so I got Bryce and fell in love with it. For years now I have been having my wife pose and I would sketch her.. Now for my birthday she gets me Poser And again I think I could be in love with another peice of software. I understand how hard it is to do everything by hand and believe that using the computer will take the grunt work out of it but it still looks like a very hard task. So my question is " What are the best sites for learning the tricks and tips of poser ? " I know the ones out there for Photoshop and such so I figured that there would be some good info out there for poser but also some bad info too :) I'm just totaly amazed by some of the art I see in here and would love to add my own soon I personaly love the Linlin and Nene models they are breath taking. So if any one could help I would be so happy. Also Who created the manual for poser ??? Was he Greek ? I mean put it in terms a starving artist can understand :) ha ha ha Thanks

This is the best site for learning Poser. All the best of the best come here and liberally are willing to help out and share information as time permits. I learned everything I know about Poser right here, on this site. And yeah, the manuel writer left a bit to be desired. There are tutorials on this site, and over on Travellers Morph World 2 site, and alot can be learned merely by downloading a really great file and studying what the artist did in it. For that I recommend you RUN fast to www.thorneworks.com and grab Raven. Hurry now, don't wait, as she is overdue to be removed, and will then be gone forever and ever and ever.... I learned alot from Thorne.

I have learnt a vast amount by frequenting this site along with the 3D Comune and Poser Forum Online sites. I have found folks to be remarkably helpful and the exchanges of ideas stimulating. I know that your experiences will prove similar. Regards philc_agatha_white_on_black.jpg

Thanks Guys and I really mean it! I have been to several sites on the net looking and found this one thanks to copernic :) When I started out in photoshop back in the days of old :) The people were not as nice and most were pretty blunt about you going into their little art world. So I kept to myself a bit away from the net and didn't grow as the tech grew. It will take me some time to learn this all out but I hope to share it all with you. Again Thanks for the tips and the quick replys I'm all ready starting my first real model!!! Thanks P.S. Sorry about the grammer and spelling I'm very tired and never said I was and english major :) I'm an artist :P
