I created this bridge and then needed some place to put it. It took me an age to get the ground textures to sit right on the terrains. I also used GI and that made the render time very long. The transparency on the dragon wings didn't help. :) I used the C3 hand book to help with the GI setup and it looks a lot better than what I started with. Have fun Neil

Ok! Now these are the kind of pictures I like to see done with Carrara Studio 3. I love the haze effect used.

I like it. Very nice work. Some of the textures are stretched in the canyon wall and the lower left foreground. They might need tiling there, if possible.

That's the best-looking ground I've seen in Carrara. Carrara's terrain tools are almost driving me back to Bryce (but I can't possibly give up GI lighting -- and decent trees).

Thanks Steama & Sailor_Ed. Shonner: The haze effect worked well and was created using two volumetric clouds. Mateo_Sancarlos: Thanks. Yes that texture is stretched a bit but I had a hell of a time getting the texture to sit right. I had several images that had bad pixalation and that took me a couple of go's to work out. Nomuse: Thanks. The ground is similair to Vue that I use also. The texture came from a texture pack that nvidia put out a year or so ago and is just some mossy rocks. It does look good though. I guess it is what you get used to as I could never get the hang of Bryce. I like the trees also but finding textures for them took awhile. Cheers Neil

Thanks Kixum, I do. This is the best that I have done in Carrara. I love it. Cheers Neil
