Over at rDNA in their freestuff is a set of 62 skin tone Mat poses what will change only the skin tone color. One each for V3 (also works on M3), and one for V2 (also works on M2). 62 different ones usually covers about every variation. They also have a set of reflect tones for both figures. Do a search in their freestuff on "tones".Cloe, if you click on that little 3-coloured square where you select the base colour, you get another type of palette, and that palette gives you the option to sorta save your own colours. That way you can be sure to apply the exact same colour to both head and body. They're separate because they have each their map. I THINK MAT poses for V2 and M2 will work on the Poser 5 characters (I assume those are the ones you are using, or you would have an even BIGGER problem, V3 has 2 different mat zones in her head (head and scalp) alone and loads of them on her arms and legs which is why MAT poses comes in so handy. But on the P5 people it is more simple, and by using the "hidden" palette it is easy to do.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Working with the Materials feature I can change the colour of my characters skin tone for the body, but am forced to match the head seperately. Seems odd that they would be seperate but I'm sure it will pay off in spades when I move away from traditional humans and start rendering victims of radiation poisoning or aliens. Until that point in time, is there a way to command Poser to use the same skin tone for body AND head? Using P 5. Thanks Chloe
