Subject: Stephanie 3 & Victoria 3

Is there any difference between these 2 models Stephanie 3 & Victoria 3 that couldn't be tweaked by the one to look like the other? What I mean is if S3 has smaller hands couldn't I just tweak V3 hands and fingers to look just like S3? Are the faces much different between these 2 models? S3 looks likes it has less morphs and accessories?

About the only way you'll get one to look like the other is to do it in a modelling application. The base mesh has been sufficiently modifed enough in vertice placement that the two figures do not look alike pretty much no matter what you do using the standard morph packs. With the sculpting set, however, you could likely achieve a pretty fair comparison. I happen to like s3 more, and she does take the v3 morphs.

Actually, Stephanie 3 is not much more than a scaled down V3 figure. If you have the Tailor, you might try this. 1) Import the object for V3 from the runtime:geometry folder into Poser using the import obj option from the menubar. 2) Open the hierarchy editor, select the V3 object and click on the create new figure button at the bottom of the HE editor. Poser will make the object a figure (no not a working figure, but that is okay). 3) Delete the V3 obj and load the V3 obj figure you just made - should be in the New Figures Library Folder. 4) Select the figure and click on the load morph target from the object menu. 5) Locate the Stephanie Petite obj in the runtime geometry folder and import this as a morph target. 6) Test the new morph, and watch V3 transform to SP. 7) With the morph set at one - so that Stephanie is made, use the create full body morph command from the menu to make a Full Body Morph dial in the Body group. Name it SP or whatever. Okay, now how to apply this morph to your V3 figure next. 8) Save the new V3/SP figure back to the New Figures library. 9) Open Tailor. Load your V3/SP figure as the base figure. 10) Load the DAZ V3 figure as the clothing item. 11) Select the SP FBM you made and use Tailor to transfer it as a FBM to V3 (don't worry, Tailor will make the partial body morphs needed for the body parts automatically, and link them to the FBM in the Body group) 12)Save the V3 figure as a new figure to your Poser library. 13) Launch a new empty Poser scene and load the V3 figure you just made in Tailor from the library. Test the SP full Body Morph. If all went well, you know have a working V3 figure that can morph into Stephanie Petite.

Sam, I did have some success injecting a V3 character pak face morph directly into S3, but it did require some minor manual adjustments. Message edited on: 06/27/2004 01:26

Some injections work from V3 to David with no tweaking. The big problem is channels being available and named properly. If you have V3 with all the injections you want saved as a .cr2 file, you can transfer them to David with MorphMangager. I've gotten some interesting effects with the V3 Male faces on him. Taking the male V3 morphs and applying them works too, so long as you counter with a base V3 morph (exporting all the body parts of V3, and applying each one as a morph to David) or use the breast gone morph to counter on the chest. There are endless possibilities for variation with these figures if you're willing to put in the time and effort. I've got almost all the V3/M3 variations and the mix and match is really neat.
