Okies, I'm having some trouble. lol, go figure. Anyway, I am trying to use Koz's Wavy hair. I've used it dozens of times before but now it seems I'm having a prob. I've tried fixing it in the materials room but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions? Is it the polygon count?

The texture map is clearly only assigned to a selected numbers of polys. How to solve this in C4D, tell you I could. But Poser not yet. I would remove the hair altogether, try another one of Koz' wigs and if that works, I'd try this one again at standard settings. The mat file may be corrupt, or simply badly loaded. Just guesses.

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

This link will tell you what you need to know :) This one is also useful to have in mind: http://www.digitalbabes2.com/dload/P5notice.html

Morst specifically, what you are running into is the single sided polygon problem. P5 doesn't like rendering the backside of single sided polygons. The links above describe what's also about to be described here: 1 - turn off texture filtering in your rendering options. It's purpose is to reduce moire. 2 - add a slight amount of displacement to the hair (and be sure to set your render settings accordingly). This file contains some information on render settings that might be of use.

From the looks of it, it's the displacement trick that should solve it.

Stewer, why doesn't the material room have an option to enable 2-sided materials? I'm sure it can be done, since I see it available in other applications.
