The space background maker set!!The set is a pds-file (Photoshop & Paintshop) with a number of different layers specified below.
The psd-file contains 3 high res layers (beside the info layer that you can turn off).
One layer with a star field.
One layer with a huge planet.
One layer with an asteroid field.
You can move, dublicate, resize, rotate, change the colors on each layer or whatever you like and come up with your own space background. The examples below are created with just a couple of clicks. Example1:

I got this idea when I was archiving this old image of mine:
