Subject: Copy/Paste Object with bones

It seem that I can't copy and paste object with bones. I hope it is not the way it is. I have tons of object I need to duplicate.

Try saving the boned object alone as a .car file, then import it into a new file as many times as you need it.... I don't know for sure if it'll work, just a hunch....

I had to do just what brainmuffin suggested, minus lights and camera, just the model with bones and I was able to add as many as I wanted. I just deleted the light and camera once I imported the .car file into my scene. I'd also like to see the feature in Carrara 4. I'd also like to be able to work with the trees without waiting forever. Has anyone made trees without leaves, then used a material over spheres? R.

The low poly version of trees would work very well, using trans maps to produce the leaves. Probably better to use half spheres or dished grids. Brian Taylor uses this technique very effectively in Rustboy.
