Subject: help please

i have posted a few images now and had great replys but many people have said i should put a thumbnail up and i might get more people viewing my images.this is where i need help how do i put thumbnail up do i have to have to copys of the same image one being smaller and in a diffrent folder?i know this is a stupid question but i am lost any help please pickles.

You have to make an image 200 x 200 pixels (a smaller version of your piece). You have to name your thumbnail differently than your piece, since otherwise it will cause conflicts for Rendo's system to show them. It doesn't matter where you have your files in your hard disk (they can be at the same location) as long as they have different names. I usually name my files "artpiece.jpg" for the main piece and "artpiece-TN.jpg" for the thumbnail. Does this help? Barbara

Also if they are not a complete 200 by 200 you take and use the one closest to the 200 example some of mind end up being 200x 149 depends on what you start with 1024x768 or smaller 800x600 you still use as close as you get to 200 x whatever it comes out to be. hope that helps also I know when I first started it like to drove me up the wall trying to get them as close as possible now I just don't worry about it. Yes I suggested it to you and I normally do for those who have just started in most cases they just don't know like you didn't know. Hope to see more of your work in the Gallery Good Luck Carolyn
