Hello Sim, Awhile back another user was having the same problem. Here is the message that I posted from awhile back.... "Hey y'all, I found a solution that may work, after about an hour of trying different search terms I found the correct one. this solves the downloading to temp folder first....go to my computer.> view > folder options > file types > here look for the appropriate file type..(e.g. *zip...)WiNZIP type, select edit, at the next pop-up window, check the box..Confirm open after download...click OK...that should do it....I myself have been Wrestling with this problem for more than 6 months or so....Hope this helps..." BTW this works in WIN 98, and pretty sure it works in Win XP...for WIN XP..the path should be...MY COMPUTER>TOOLS>FOLDER OPTIONS>select the FILE TYPES tab..then scroll down to the WINZIP file type, then highlite....at the bottom of the pop-up, click on ADVANCED tab...place a check in the box near CONFIRM OPEN AFTER DOWNLOAD. Then click OK then CLOSE on the remaining popup to close out. that should do the trick... DayTimer

I would have expected this to be an easy option to revert, but I've just been looking at the IE options and help all to no avail :( There's certainly a sparsity of help in Win XP. A quick search on the net suggests you're on the right lines DayTimer. Thanks for the warning in advance methinks!I'm using winME.... I have no clue why is has just today started to do this.. I am very computer literate, but it has me stumpted.. thanks for your advice :)

I am at my whits end i'm afraid. so i thought i'd ask you clever peeps some advice... something weird has happened, i noticed it when i trie to download the freebie from awful soul.. when i click a download button things have now decided to go straight into my temporary internet folder, instead of getting the popup window asking where i would like to save it to, this is now happening on anything i try to download... and i can't think how this happened or how to fix it... So any clue/help would be great!! Sorry about this being nothing really to do with Poser, I am just really needing some help!! Thanks bunches.. -S-
