I can't seem to get it to blur... I render it in broadcast and it still looks like a normal tree...here's what my print screen looks like! I did everything it said to do in the archtips...and It's still not working! LOL! Please help me! Johannah

Make sure you are rendering just a single frame, not the entire animation, that was the first thing I had problems with (since you use the animation renderer not the normal render dialog box and it is defaulted to do the entire sequence) See the attached image for clarification.

Well, when i remember it right (i am at home without Vue) you don't have to render using the animation window. What you should try is to render with broadcast (minimum) a frame somewhere in the middle. I think there was a reason that the last frame of the animation is not blurred. Maybe because the animation is stopped there already or something like that. Try to render a frame in the middle and let us know. And maybe show us a screenshot of your render settings too.

Where do you find the animation render options? I've tried the frames in between the first one and the last one... the picture still looks the same... Here is one of my print screens for the other stuff...

I found the animation render options box...here's the image...

Here's this one... the start and finish arn't even near the image I want to render...does that make a difference? And when I render it says: Rendering frame 1 of 1... so that means it's rendering the first frame, right? how do I get it to render frame 7 or something? Thanks!

Hi, finally i found a little time to do an example. You don't have to go to the animation settings. You do your animation as "always" and then go to Render Settings (F9). There you select broadcast - the minimum render setting that allows motion blur. Of course you need to go to a frame in the middle of your animation first - that you want to render. At the beginning AND AT THE END the speed is zero, nothing to blur therefore. Standing objects are sharp! I hope my screenshot - with the two little rendered examples - is a little helpfull.
