Well, when i remember it right (i am at home without Vue) you don't have to render using the animation window. What you should try is to render with broadcast (minimum) a frame somewhere in the middle. I think there was a reason that the last frame of the animation is not blurred. Maybe because the animation is stopped there already or something like that. Try to render a frame in the middle and let us know. And maybe show us a screenshot of your render settings too.
